UKANet draws together 11 UK-wide ageing research networks to facilitate knowledge exchange, forge new collaborative links and enable novel research across all academic disciplines, with the aim of improving health and wellbeing for older adults.
UKANet also aims to become the voice for ageing researchers across the UK, working with older people’s groups, funders and policy makers as well as health care professionals and regulators to ensure that ageing research is properly resourced and that relevant findings are rapidly implemented into policy and practice.
