Register for BLAST’s Sexual Dimorphism in Ageing Online Seminars – 3rd June & 21st June – abstract submission extended!!

May 10, 2024

The BLAST Network has organised two online seminars on the theme of Sexual Dimorphism of Ageing. These seminars will focus on specific topics including:

  1. Behaviour, Cognition & Ageing
  2. Metabolism, Diet & the Microbiome
  3. Immune Ageing
  4. Sexual Selection & Ageing
  5. Reproductive Ageing & the Menopause

The first seminar took place, one on Monday June 3rd from 1 – 4:30pm BST and covered topics 1 – 3 (Seminar 1), so we would like to promote the second seminar to be held on Friday June 21st 3 – 5:30pm on topics 4 & 5 (Seminar 2). Both seminars (draft schedule below) will involve presentations from prominent researchers in the field, as well as an opportunity to present posters (details outlines in the registration forms linked below) in the Gather.town platform where the seminars will be hosted.

Seminar 1 was a great success, but you can still sign-up for Seminar 2 here (Abstract deadline has been extended to =  Fri June 14th).

Participation is free but capped at ~90 per seminar due to platform restrictions, so please ensure to register your interest as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing you there and for your poster abstract submissions. If you have any questions, please email the BLAST team on blast@ukanet.org.uk
