The South Asian Ageing Network (SAAgeNet) held its final Knowledge Exchange meeting at the Lancaster Conference Centre from 10–12 March, bringing together researchers from Malaysia (Sunway University) and India (The University of Delhi and Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women). The event fostered collaboration between established and early-career researchers, highlighting progress and future directions in ageing research.
The first day featured insightful presentations on cognitive frailty, covering topics such as healthy ageing, nutrition, lifestyle, and interventions to prevent or delay cognitive frailty. On the second day, members shared their achievements through SAAgeNet, including grants, fellowships, training visits, and research projects. The event also provided a platform for participants to pitch and discuss new research ideas. The final day allowed attendees to network through individual meetings or explore the historic city of Lancaster.
