Mission Statement
“Uncovering the secrets of ECM ageing for a healthier life course”
The ECMage research network aims to advance our understanding of the ageing of the extracellular matrix (ECM) and identify potential interventions to improve health and well-being across the life course, with a focus on advancing equality, diversity, and inclusivity across career stages. We bring together experts from multiple disciplines and institutions to catalyse interactions and generate new knowledge through pump-priming activities and events. Our goals include generating preliminary data, a position paper, a database of models, and new grant applications, all while supporting the professional development of postdoctoral research associates, PhD students, and technical staff.
